Loving Everyone
I love Robert Holden, the person he is and the work that he has contributed to the world. I have heard and seen him speak at several conferences and Course in Miracles events. He is funny, warm, compassionate. A person of integrity I deeply admire. We often use his work in our work. For instance, his books on Happiness or Lovability. He is a dedicated CIM student and teacher. I thought you might enjoy reading this poem on loving everyone. (Simple but not easy).
If you want to find someone
to love,
I recommend you start
loving everyone
immediately.
Love will find you if you are
being the love
that you are
If you want to learn how
to love someone
with all your
heart,
I advise you to fall in love
with everyone
a little bit
more.
And if you want someone
to love you
more,
I urge you to get on with it,
and to start
loving yourself.
Someone has to do it.
It may as well be you.

- Miracles increase by sharing; what you extend you strengthen: loving all increses love returned (T-5.1.2-3; T-1.I.9)
- Giving and receiving are one: “Loving everyone is the key to loving someone” and “for us to love you too.” (W-108). (See “To have, give all to all)(T-6.V.A.5).
- Accept the atonement for yourself first; self-acceptance extends: “start loving yourself... Someone has to do it.” (T-2.V.5).
- “Show us how it is done... so that you make it easy for us to love you Too.” (T-2.V.7; T-21.II.2).
- The decision for love is your responsibility (responsibility for sight): “I urge you to get on with it.” (T-21.II.2)
